Animation for 005.02 is complete
It took me a day longer than expected… I think before I animate Lugarians this way again I need to re-visit their character rigs because getting the right movements on them was a real pain in the ass. Seems like I was only doing 20 seconds a day on a single character… and we simply can’t have that. I think what I’ll do in addition to re-structuring the upper body skeleton is utilize a rig of joints rather than bones for these creatures in favor of increased flexibility.
Anyways, it’ll be a shorter installment at about 1 minute 10 seconds… I originally was going to combine it with the next scene but later decided against it. All that’s left to do in 005.02 is last minute lighting, minor textures, renders, SFX and post production. I’ll try to get the non-rendering stuff done over the weekend.
