The presentation I did on Saturday is available for download at the San Diego Lightwave Users Group website. If you’re a Lightwave user these are excellent, casually-paced tutorials that I highly recommend looking at. Some of the cool things Larry has shown includes dynamically putting bullet holes into walls, fast-rendering explosion effects, etc. There’s even some other tutorials that involve photoshop as well by Stephen Burns.
I still think I could have done a lot better… but in due time. I watched mine again just to take notes on what I should avoid doing next time… like saying “You know” several hundred fewer times… … I just want to punch the screen every time I hear myself say that. Repeating myself when I don’t need to is another thing I’d like to learn to not do.
